Step One

The Behavior Consultation

Every behavior case starts here. This virtual consultation gives us the full picture of what is happening for your dog and creates a clear, realistic path forward.

This is not a quick assessment or a list of tips. We take time to understand your dog’s history, current challenges, daily environment, and internal experience so we can make thoughtful, welfare focused decisions.

Virtual consultations allow us to work together regardless of location, reduce stress for your dog, and focus on real life patterns without the pressure of an in person session.

Whether we continue with ongoing support or not, you will leave this session with clarity and concrete next steps.

What this includes

  • 90 to 120 minute virtual consultation via Zoom
  • Comprehensive review of behavior history, triggers, and patterns
  • Welfare focused assessment including health, pain, stress, and preferences
  • Clear training and management strategies to implement right away
  • Detailed written summary and action plan after the session
Investment: $200
Format: Virtual consultation (nationwide)
Required: Yes. All behavior clients start here
This service is not designed for separation anxiety cases.
Step Two

Ongoing Behavior Support

Behavior change does not happen in a single session. It happens in real life, between lessons, during setbacks, and in moments where support matters most.

This monthly concierge service is designed to give you consistent guidance, accountability, and support as you and your dog work through behavior challenges together.

Think of this as having a behavior professional in your corner as situations come up, not just someone you see once in a while.

What’s included each month

  • Up to four in person or virtual sessions per month
  • One month session carryover maximum
  • Ongoing text and call support with clear communication guidelines
  • Access to an online library of how to videos and support resources
  • Training plan adjustments as your dog progresses
  • Collaboration with your veterinarian when appropriate
Investment: $850 per month
Format: Virtual nationwide or in person within 30 minutes of McHenry
Commitment: Month to month, cancel with 15 days written notice
Refunds: Not available
This level of support is best suited for guardians who want consistency, guidance between sessions, and a long term plan rather than one off solutions.
Step Three

Maintenance and Ongoing Support

As progress builds and things feel more stable, many clients transition out of intensive support and into a maintenance phase.

This stage is about protecting progress, preventing regression, and continuing to build skills without the intensity of weekly sessions.

There is no rush to move here. We make this transition together, based on your dog’s needs, your goals, and what support feels appropriate.

Maintenance options

  • Reduced session frequency as needed

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this right for my dog?

These services are designed for dogs with big feelings toward people or other dogs, including reactivity, fear, and complex behavior challenges. If you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure how to move forward, this is likely a good fit.

Do you work with separation anxiety?

No. These services are not designed for separation anxiety cases. If you are unsure whether your dog’s challenges fall into this category, you are welcome to reach out before booking.

Why do all behavior cases start with a consultation?

Behavior does not exist in isolation. The consultation allows us to understand your dog’s full picture and create a thoughtful plan. This ensures any ongoing support is appropriate, ethical, and effective.

Can we do everything virtually?

Yes. The consultation is always virtual, and many clients work with me fully virtually long term. Virtual support is considered equally effective and is often less stressful for dogs.

Do you offer one off lessons?

Yes. One off lessons are available at a rate of $175 per 45 minutes. Payment is due at the time of booking. Please note that one off lessons do not include ongoing support or follow up and are best suited for specific, short term goals.

How long will we need monthly support?

Every dog is different. Some clients need more time in active support, while others transition into maintenance sooner. We make that decision together based on progress and goals.

Is this a one session solution?

No. While the consultation provides clarity and next steps, meaningful behavior change typically requires ongoing support and consistency over time.

Ready to Get Started?

If you are ready for clarity, support, and a thoughtful plan for your dog, the first step is a virtual behavior consultation.

If you are unsure whether this is the right fit, you are welcome to reach out with questions before booking.
